| 04/22/2009... | North Hampton, NH – Seacoast Harley Davidson hosted the North Hampton Business Association last week for Earth Day – where the North Hampton Energy Committee took part in leading a discussion on energy efficiency, LEED building and presenting Joanne Lamprey, President of Lamprey Brothers, with their first “Walk the Talk” award.
Mary Lou Wollmar, the Chairman of the North Hampton Energy Committee says, “The ‘Walk the Talk’ award is presented to an individual who exemplifies excellence in the field of working toward renewable and sustainable energy.” Wollmar adds “I am so impressed with Joanne's mission to ‘help people burn less oil’ and her generous gift to the Seacoast community by hosting educational seminars to the public. These events offer our community tools and insights on how people can reduce their fossil fuel consumption, save money and help the environment and they have been ongoing for more than two years, starting with the event This Old Planet Needs a Friend, held at the Music Hall in Portsmouth, NH.”
Joanne Lamprey says, “Our passion as a company and as part of the North Hampton community drives us every day to help educate people on how they can reduce their energy consumption.” Lamprey is proud of the products and services that have been brought on board at Lamprey Brothers over the past two years, offering the community solar, geothermal and all climate heat pumps. “We want to continue changing with our customers changing needs, and in the last year, we have seen heating oil go in a direction that scared all of us. We want to provide real solutions to our customers. Receiving this award is an honor and an award that sincerely means something to me, and everyone at Lamprey Brothers.”
