Women's Club Grateful For New Heating System
December 28, 2007
To the Editor:
The Portsmouth Women's City Club (Sec. 501c3 IRSCode) has been wishing for a new heating system for their clubhouse and residence. Along comes Santa (Lamprey Brothers — Joanne Lamprey and her reindeer technicians and staff) and checks out our wish list.
You know the rest of the story. We have been good so our wish was granted. Be nice and people will be nice to you. It works!
The Portsmouth Women's Club is grateful for the generosity of Joanne Lamprey and Lamprey Brothers. The clubhouse has a new state-of-the-art heating system installed by Lamprey Brothers at no expense to our club.
Now our function rooms will be warm and available to the public. Our residents will not have to worry if the furnace will go off.
The Portsmouth Women's Club has served the Seacoast since 1920. We respond to community needs in the Seacoast by offering our time and financial resources to many nonprofit organizations.
The gift of the heating system proves that there are people that reach out to help their community.
Thank you, Joanne Lamprey and Lamprey Brothers. We do believe in Santa Claus.
