| 08/30/2007... | North Hampton, NH – Giving back to your community is the Hampton Rotary Club’s top priority, which is why Lamprey Brothers is so enthusiastic about being a sponsor for their 16th annual 5K road race.
On September 8, 2007 hundreds of people will join together to run a 5K which will benefit the non-profit organization, the Hampton Rotary Club. In the past, the money raised has supported Seacoast Hospice, local Headstart Programs, Katrina Relief, and most recently the Hampton Rotary Scholarship Fund. This scholarship fund awards money each year to two well rounded seniors from Winnacunnet High School who are involved with their community and are in-need of financial assistance.
“Being able to rally around a non-profit that helps other non-profits and the community at large, is an incredible way to give back,” says Joanne Lamprey, President of Lamprey Brothers. “It takes a solid group of people to work together, so that in return they are able to give back so much more; I am delighted that Lamprey Brothers is a part of that.”
“We are very grateful to have Lamprey Brothers come on board as a sponsor for the fourth year in a row. They do wonderful things for the community and have very exciting plans moving forward with regard to offering people alternative energy solutions, which help save the environment,” says Dan Dolan, current president of the Hampton Rotary Club.
