Important Information:

Air leaks throughout your home can make you and your family uncomfortable as well as cost you money. Inefficient insulation can lead to walls and ceilings that are cold to the touch in winter and are hot in the summertime making your heating and cooling system work harder to keep your home comfortable. Today's homes are being built better with more insulation and are becoming virtually draft-free. Older homes that had natural air leaks through the home are being remodeled with newer, air tight windows and added insulation. While these changes can make your home more energy efficient, they can also lead to a number of filtration problems.

According to the EPA, concentrations of toxic pollutants can be up to one hundred times greater inside a home than outside, even in our smoggiest cities. Complaints of stuffiness, unpleasant odors and illness are common in houses that contain too little fresh air. And today's homes can trap contaminants like formaldehyde, radon, and household chemicals.
